Dynasty will by default pick the fist HID Device it can find and use that as the standart. Since steam recognizes your device now, you need to start disableing other HID devices in device manager. After all this steam should regonice it and optionally you should activate the Xbox/PS support in the controller section of Big picture.) The point is, it needs to show up in the device Manager, it could be hidden as just a generic HID Device so you need to mess around and see wich one will work when activated.
If it wont even show up here you need to troubelshoot the controller itself, since there could be many issues with this just try installing a new driver/restarting/pluging in or out your device.
(If it doesnt, go into device manager and look for disabeld HID Devices/ look for your Gamepad and activate per right click. If your controller is being regoniced it will show up here. Its pretty easy, just start the big picture mode and navigate to controllers. Ive done this fix with my Xbox one controller so I dont know if the same works with others, but I think it will since this is more of an issue with how Windows/Dynasty works.įirst of all, get your controller to be regoniced by steam, you can do this by configuring it in the big picture mode.
